Good question Lynn. Unfortunately I was rushing to get out a post but had little time to write so I didn’t stick in any details. One of the florists I interviewed said the flowers were designed to represent a Halo because he said the two saints had halos over their heads. He did not specify anything about the colors but I like your guess of fire and light (heaven and hell I suppose).
